The Story of Syrup
The first evening fire, a warm mug, the scent of the forest — without going anywhere.
Fir buds are not harvested just anyhow, and not just anytime. They appear only a few weeks a year, tender and full of live resin, on the branches of fir trees in the wild forests of the Apuseni Mountains. Local foragers gather them by hand, at the right moment.
From those buds, without haste and without shortcuts, we make the syrup. Quantities are limited by nature, not by us.
What makes it different
- Fir bud extract 50% — no artificial essence, no synthetic flavor
- Inverted sugar — fixes the resinous flavors without masking them
- Natural lemon juice — balances the intensity of the fir
- No preservatives, no colorants, no E-numbers
- Non-GMO ingredients
The fir tree has been used since ancestral times in Carpathian households — its buds were prized for their comforting aroma and invigorating properties. Our syrup preserves this tradition in its purest form: artisanal, concentrated, uncompromising. The aroma is intense, resinous, unmistakable.
How to use it
For those who want an ingredient with character, not a sweet syrup with no personality. For those who make cocktails at home and are looking for something truly unique. For nature lovers who want to bring the mountain into their kitchen. For mothers looking for natural alternatives in the cold season.

Frequently asked questions
How concentrated is the syrup? How many ml should I put in a glass?
The fir syrup is very concentrated — the resinous aroma is intense. We recommend 1–2 tablespoons (15–30 ml) per 200–250 ml of water or beverage. Start with less and adjust to taste.
Does it need to be refrigerated after opening?
Yes. After opening, keep the bottle in the refrigerator between 4–18°C, away from direct sunlight. Shake well before each use.
Does it have contraindications? Can I give it to children?
The product contains no preservatives and has not been treated with ionizing radiation. The ingredients are natural and non-GMO. As with any product containing sugar, moderate consumption is recommended. For children under 1 year or people with specific medical conditions, consult a doctor.
Where do the fir buds come from?
The buds come from the wild forests of the Apuseni Mountains, gathered by local foragers during the natural season — a few weeks a year. We do not force production and we do not use plantations.
Can it be used in cooking or desserts?
Absolutely. Fir syrup works excellently as a topping for yogurt, pancakes, or ice cream, but also as an ingredient in cakes with resinous notes. The intense flavors withstand moderate temperatures well.
How long does a 750 ml bottle last?
At 15 ml per serving, a bottle provides ±25 drinks. For moderate daily use — approximately 1+ months for one person.
